The Brain of Inderdeep Gill

The Great Gatsby.

An epic retelling of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel (which I have just started reading on my iPad) about 1920s New York aristocracy, director Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby finds the director balancing themes that were as prevalent in the early 1900s, as they are today.

I cannot WAIT for this film, especially the soundtrack for it. Jay Z has placed the music in it, and it just fits. Many artists have done old renditions or completely new tracks for it. Florence and The Machine, Will.I.Am, Fergie and Beyonce are just some great people you’ll hear.

The film looks to be so colourful, vibrant and real life. The sets and scenes look amazing, and the 16th May can’t come sooner enough - deffo one for 3D!

If you’re a grad looking for a job, this might help. I think you just have to know the industry you’re applying to work for.
The Visual CV has helped me get internships in PR/Ad agencies and my job in PR, so I definitely recommend trying something bold/creative/different.. what about sending a CV alongside a cake/cup cakes into the agency you want to work for?

The Proof Is In The Graphs… Proof That Growing Old Means Getting Boring.
What happens when you crunch a heap of Facebook data with one of the most sophisticated computational tools in the world? Mathematical proof for the myriad ways your life gets boring as you get older. That’s right, as you get older, you’re going to spend even more time whining about the weather and the government and less time thinking about important things like video games.
