Negatives Affects of Social Media
In my earlier posts, I discussed the positive impacts that social media may have on nonprofit endeavors, as well as ways to achieve success. However, I think it is also important to mention ways social media can go wrong. Yesterday, I talked about the ten mistakes that nonprofits make that hurt chances for success. Today, I also want to discuss some concerns regarding the negative ways that social media has affected nonprofits. But don’t worry, it’s not the end of the world! While browsing around on Nonprofit Tech 2.0, I came across an entry called “Three Ways Social Media Has Negatively Affectived the Nonprofit Sector.” The article outlines the undesirable outcomes of usage and how nonprofits can deal with the issues.
